What's the trend of being green?

Ok... I pretty much declare myself facebook retired these days, but I checked mine today and I found a new email from one of my friends and we got to catch up. As the conversation went on we talked about an issue that she has with another friend. The more we chatted it appeared that there was underlying envy towards the other person. Immediately pause the conversation to simply state "What's the point of being green?" It seems that this problem is occuring with a lot of people who have underlying jealousy towards other people and sometimes ever their closest friends. Even I have found myself a victim of this epidemic at certain times. There are certain abilities and skills my friends have that I could only imagine myself having however that still leaves this one simple question "What causes this green envious feeling deep inside us that eats us away when we truly want something that someone else has?" Well I have discovered that this feeling can be multiple things: Lack of Confidence, Fear, Poor self image, or insecurities. (Pretty much all the same thing) They are all  nothing more than emotional disguises. We as humans are fearful of harsh judgement or being shunned for being different. In our minds we can sometimes see a talent so amazing in others around us we become overwhelmed and forget to FOCUS on finding our own special abilities this triggers envy. To prevent this you simply need to appreciate others talents and abilites and then research projects and try new things that will help you develop or discover your own hidden talent. Bottom line don't hate just appreciate because in the long run your friends will appreciate you more for the support rather than the neglect due to being green.
